Ganfeng Lithium signs strategic cooperation framework agreement with Yichun government

Ganfeng Lithium announced on September 28th that it already signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the municipal government of Yichun, Jiangxi recently. According to the agreement, the company will invest in building a 30GWhpy new-type lithium battery manufacturing base project and a 7,000tpy lithium metal project in Yichun Economy and Technology Development District as well as a 50,000tpy battery grade lithium salt and lithium ore mining and beneficiation comprehensive utilization project in Fengxin and a 50,000tpy lithium hydroxide project in Fengcheng. The company will also establish a joint venture with Yichun Mining Co., Ltd. The municipal government of Yichun, which will ensure that Ganfeng Lithium's demand for raw material be met, will transfer raw ore resources within Yichun in a suitable period in accordance with the building progress of above projects. The above joint venture will participate in relative bidding and acquisition and get mining rights in accordance with laws.
