On August 24, XTC New Energy announced that it planned to invest RMB2,445 million (USD357 million) in building a 70,000tpy Li-ion battery cathode material production project at its Ningde plant. When the project is constructed, the company's Ningde plant will have an annual production capacity of 95,000t.
