Jinche Energy Storage's 18GWh LFP battery project starts in Gansu Jinchang

On the morning of August 3, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of 18GWH LFP battery project of Gansu Jinche Energy Storage Battery Technology Co., Ltd. was held in Jinchang National Economic and Technological Development Zone.
It is reported that the project is to be built in two phases. The first phase, with an investment of RMB1 billion (USD147.9 million), was started in March this year and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of the year. With an investment of RMB6 billion (USD887.3 million), the second phase of the project was started along with the ceremony, which will build a 18GWh LFP energy storage battery production line and its supporting facilities and will be put into operation by the end of 2023 as estimated.
