Panasonic to build 150-200GWh battery plant in U.S. for Tesla

Panasonic is consolidating its relation with Tesla by building a super battery plant in Kansas, the U.S. with an investment of USD4 billion.
The plant will provide a new high-capacity battery for Tesla and will help Panasonic increase its energy production capacity from existing 50GWh to 150-200GWh by the fiscal year of 2028. The plant is expected to go into production in 2023.
