Jiangxi Special Electric Motor completes upgrading of two spodumene production lines

Jiangxi Special Electric Motor announced on July 14th that it started upgrading of two production lines that could produce 15,000t of lithium salt per year with spodumene as raw material from the fourth quarter of 2021, so as to make the two production lines to produce lithium carbonate by both spodumene and lepidolite. With the upgrading completed as of July 14th, the company is now improving the production capacity of the two production lines. Thanks to the upgrading, all the four lithium salt production lines of the company could produce lithium carbonate by lepidolite.
