Hainan Mining to build 20,000tpy battery grade lithium hydroxide project in Danzhou

On the morning of July 1, Danzhou city held a contract signing ceremony for major projects to be built in Danzhou Yangpu Economic Development Zone. One of the projects is the 20,000tpy battery grade lithium hydroxide project (phase one) invested by Hainan Mining and to be operated by Hainan Xingzhihai New Materials Co., Ltd.
It is reported that Hainan Mining will invest no more than RMB1.065 billion (USD0.20 billion) in the project, including raw material spodumene procurement and construction of 20,000tpy battery grade lithium hydroxide production lines and auxiliary facilities.
