GreatStar Group to invest in rare earth magnetic material industrial park project in Mianyang

On May 18, Mianyang government held an agreement signing ceremony for 82 investment projects with a total investment of RMB106.69 billion (USD15.99 billion), including three RMB10-billion level major manufacturing projects, one of which is GreatStar rare earth magnetic material industrial park project.
By cooperating with Shenghe Resources, GreatStar Group plans to integrate major upstream and downstream companies of the rare earth industry to build a 100,000tpy high-performance NdFeB magnetic material project in Mianyang high-tech development zone. When the project goes into production, it will be among top producers of rare earth magnetic material in China; meanwhile, it will help Sichuan and even Southwest China fill in gaps in this field and also help Sichuan convey its advantages in rare earth resources to industrial application advantages.
