Energy New Materials announced on May 5 that the company invests, through its subsidiary SEMCORP Manufacturing USA LLC, to build lithium battery separator film plants in Sidney, Ohio.
The project is mainly to produce and sell lithium battery separator film and functional coating film, planning to construct a separator production line with a production capacity of 1-1.2 billion square meters and supporting coating equipment. The total project investment is estimated to be USD916 million.
