Huayou Cobalt and Xingfa Chemicals Group to co-invest in 500,000tpy LFP project

Huayou Cobalt announced that on November 7, 2021 in Yichang city, Hubei province it signed a cooperation agreement with Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co., Ltd. The two sides decided to cooperate centering upon the full chain of new energy Li-battery materials. To be specific, the two sides will co-invest in constructing a phosphorus integrated industrial zone in Yichang city covering from phosphorite mining, phosphorus chemicals, phosphoric acid by wet process, ferric phosphate to LFP businesses, with ferric phosphate and LFP capacity to be 500,000tpy and 500,000tpy respectively.
