Shida Shenghua Chemical's subsidiary to invest in 100,000tpy liquid-state lithium salt project

Shida Shenghua Chemical announced that Shenghua New Energy, in which it holds a 51% stake, plans to invest RMB560 million (USD87.54 million) in constructing a 100,000tpy liquid-state lithium salt project at Dongying city, Shandong province. Project construction is expected to last for 15 months and the project is expected to be built and go into operation by February 2023. Meanwhile, Shida Shenghua Chemical's fully owned subsidiary Shenghua New Energy Technology (Dongying) Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB1.6 billion (USD0.25 billion) in constructing a 300,000tpy electrolyte project in Dongying city. Project construction is expected to last for 15 months and the project is expected to be built and go into operation also by February 2023.
