Huayou Cobalt announced that its holding subsidiary B&M Science and Technology Co,. Ltd. and Huayou Holding, the controlling shareholder of the company, signed a Letter of Intent to Acquire Equity on November 5, 2021, under which B&M Science and Technology intends to acquire 100% equity interest in Inner Mongolia Shengfan New Energy Co., Ltd. held by Huayou Holding by paying cash or issuing new shares to expand its lithium iron phosphate business.
Shengfan Energy is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of lithium iron phosphate materials for lithium batteries.
