CATL to invest in building integrated battery material project

CATL disclosed that it will invest in building Brunp integrated battery material industrial park project in Tianjinhe district in Yaojiagang industrial park of Yichang, Hubei through its holding subsidiaries of Guangdong Brunp and Ningbo Brunp with a total investment of no more than RMB32 billion (USD496.32 million).
According to CATL, the project will mainly build an intensive and large-scale base that has the ability to recycle waste battery materials and produce LFP & NCM precursor, LCO, NCM cathode materials, graphite, phosphoric acid and other materials. Guangdong Brunp and Ningbo Brunp will be responsible for the implementation of the project.
