Tsingtuo Group to construct stainless steel new materials industry cluster project

With a total investment of RMB30 billion (USD4.61 billion), Tsingtuo Group plans to construct the stainless steel new materials industry cluster project covering a total planned land area of 8,000mu. The project will be constructed in three phases. The first phase with an investment of RMB10 billion (USD1.54 billion) and a planned land area of 2,400mu will construct the stainless steel deep processing industry park project, including the 600,000-ton-per-annum stainless steel wire rod deep processing production project, the 1.2-million-ton-per-annum high-performance cold-rolled precision stainless steel sheet project and the 1-million-ton-per-annum high-quality colored stainless steel panel project. The second phase with an investment of RMB12 billion (USD1.84 billion) and a planned land area of 2,250mu will construct the 2-million-ton-per-annum stainless steel high-performance wide plate project, including stainless steel new materials smelting and 3,200mm wide plate hot continuous rolling production lines as well as supporting facilities. Besides, Tsingtuo Group will invest RMB8 billion (USD1.23 billion) in the third phase and construct the power battery NCM cathode materials project in a planned land area of 3,350mu.
