On December 30, Tianqi Lithium announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Tianqi Lithium (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. obtained a certificate of patent relevant to cell. The name of this patent is "a high-efficiency method to eliminate LiPF6 in battery cell powder". The patent duration is 20 years since October 22, 2018.
Tianqi Lithium noted that this patent could enrich the reserve of advanced technologies of the company and improve its technological innovation capability and the commercialized level of research outputs.
