Guoxuan High-tech plans to raise battery production capacity to 100GWh in 2025

Huang Zhangxi, the Vice President of Hefei Guoxuan High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., disclosed in the automobile parts meeting held in Xi'an recently that the company plans to raise its battery production capacity to 80GWh in 2023 and 100GWh in 2025. The current battery production capacity of the company is 28GWh.
In May 2020, Volkswagen invested about EUR1.1 billion to get 26.47% shares of Guoxuan High-tech and became a large shareholder of the latter; meanwhile, Guoxuan High-tech became a certified supplier of Volkswagen.
