Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific plans to produce 104,000t of battery materials in 2020

On the evening of April 22, Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific Ltd. released its 2019 annual operation report. In 2019, the company produced 109,970t of battery materials (including 6,742t of high-purity manganese sulfate), up by 30.10% YOY, and sold 101,500t of battery materials (including 6,736.17t of high-purity manganese sulfate), up by 19.07% YOY.
Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific attributed increase in its battery material production to the fact that its Jingxi branch company put into operation a 20,000tpa high-performance lithium manganate project and therefore new production capacity was released.
Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific also revealed its operation goals for 2020, including an output of 104,000t and selling volume of 96,000t of battery materials.
