Tesla suspends construction of gigafactory in Berlin

The electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla halted construction of its Berlin-based gigafactory as it has to renovate factory land conditions caused by soil issues.
The gigafactory to be built in Berlin or the No. 4 Gigafactory, is the fourth gigafactory of Tesla which owns other three respectively in Shanghai, Nevada and New York. According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the Berlin factory will be committed to production of batteries, power systems and assembled vehicles.
According to Tesla plan, it should commence construction of the first building of the Berlin factory in April and the factory is expected to go into production in 2021. But Tesla found that the factory land site is soil styled, so the company has to renovate the land conditions; but obviously any renovations on the land site have to go through local government procedures.
