CATL released its plan for non-public issuance of shares on February 26th to raise no more than RMB20 billion (USD2.85 billion). All the fund deducting issuance fees will be used in the development of Huxi Lithium-Ion Battery Expanding Project, Jiangsu CATL Power & Energy Storage Lithium-Ion Battery Research and Production Project (Phase Ⅲ), Sichuan CATL Power Battery Project (Phase Ⅰ) and R&D projects to reserve cutting-edge electrochemical energy technology or as supplementary working capital.
