On the evening of February 27, Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific Ltd. announced that its fully-owned subsidiary Jingxi Electrochemical has finished construction of the major part of a 20,000tpa high-performance LMO battery cathode material project, which is now ready for operation. With the project going into operation, Xiangtan Electrochemical has its total battery material production capacity increasing to 100,000-110,000tpa, which will help the company sharpen its competitiveness and increase its profitability.
