Do-Fluoride Chemicals: Demand for LPF6 expected to grow rapidly in 2019

Do-Fluoride Chemicals announced on December 6 that prices for lithium hexafluorophosphate (LFP6) are about RMB100,000/t now, and export prices are higher than domestic prices; and as new energy cars have been accepted by consumers and their sales are expected to grow further in the future, the company believes that demand for lithium hexafluorophosphate will increase rapidly and its prices will stabilize on the whole and be accompanied by an upward trend.
According to Do-Fluoride Chemicals, its major clients for lithium hexafluorophosphate are companies such as BYD, Shanshan New Energy, Capchem, Soulbran and so on, to whom Do-Fluoride Chemicals sells above 600tpm of the material in total. Do-Fluoride Chemicals enjoys a domestic and international market share of about 35% and 20% respectively . Currently, the company has an annual production capacity of 6,000t of lithium hexafluorophosphate; and to keep its leading status in the international lithium hexafluorophosphate market, the company plans to further expand its production capacity, expecting to realize an annual output of above 8,000t in 2019 and scale it up on a yearly basis in the future in line with market changes.
