Weihua Limited to purchase 100% stake in Chengtun Lithium

On the evening of October 21, Weihua Limited announced that it planned to purchase 100% share of Chengtun Lithium, and by doing this it will acquire a 75% interest in Jinchuan O.I.N. Import and Export Co., Ltd. (O.I.N) as Chengtun Lithium's main assets are its 75% share in O.I.N. This transaction is estimated to be valued around RMB950 million.
O.I.N. owns the exploration right of Jinchuan Yelonggou lithium mine in Sichuan. With its reports on environmental influences, geologic environmental protection and land reclamation already approved by Sichuan provincial environmental and land authorities, O.I.N. expects to get the mining license within 2018.
