Shougang Steel's iron mine expansion project in Peru finishes

On July 31, Shougang Group Co., Ltd.'s iron mine expansion project in Peru was completed. The high-pressure roller mill workshop, filtration workshop, and external network regional pipeline installation undertaken by China 19th Metallurgical Group was successfully completed.
Since its launch in 2008, the iron mine expansion project in Peru has been carried out in two phases: the first phase of construction - power supply and distribution and raw ore production system started in August 2014 and was completed in December 2016; the second phase of construction - the new selection plant and desalination plant began in June 2016 and was completed in July 2018. The completion of the project marks that the annual output of the iron ore project will reach 20 million tons, reaching the international first-class level.
