Blockbuster release of First global Safe Production specification for Lithium Ion Battery Enterprises

On December 25, Chinese Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association officially released T/CIAPS0002-2017 group standard of Safe Production specification for Lithium Ion Battery Enterprises, which will be implemented formally from January 1, 2018.
This standard is applicable to the design and production process of new construction, reconstruction and expansion for lithium ion battery plants; it should be used for activities like safety evaluation, fire control acceptance and occupational health assessment in the lithium ion battery industry. This is a basic standard specially for safety production of lithium ion battery, which is formulated for the first time both at home and abroad. Without a full set of international standards and advanced foreign standards as reference, this standard fills in the blank for production safety control of lithium ion battery enterprises, and as a recommended group standard, it has an important guiding significance to safety control for research, development, production and testing of lithium ion battery.
