De-capacity monitoring group pays visitation upon Shaoguan city

Recently, the de-capacity monitoring group from China’s central government paid visitation upon Shaoguan, Guangdong, to inspect its work of eliminating backward steel capacity. Spot checks were done in two local enterprises, Guangdong Yueshao Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and Renhua Hengda Metals Co., Ltd. Vice mayor of Shaoguan Mr. Zhu Yuwang accompanied the group in their monitoring trips.
After the spot checks, the monitoring group applauded Shaoguan government for fully implementing central and provincial governments’ de-capacity policies and for its achievements in eliminating backward steel capacity.
Mr. Yu pointed out that Shaoguan government vows to press on with its supply-end reform by strictly implementing central and provincial governments’ requirements upon eliminating backward steel capacity, including substandard steel products, preventing eliminated capacities from resuscitating, and enhancing industrial administration, as well as by promoting industrial upgrade.
