MIIT releases the first batch of rare earth mandatory plan for 2017

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Apr 17 – China’s Ministry of Industry and Information (“MIIT” for short) released “Notice on the first batch of rare earth mandatory plan for 2017” on Thursday. According to the notice, the first batch of mandatory plan for rare earth ores and oxides are 52,500 tonnes and 50,075 tonnes. The details are as below:

As the second batch of rare earth mandatory plan is always same with the first batch, China’s rare earth mandatory plan in 2017 is supposed to hover at 105,000 tonnes for rare earth ore and 100,150 tonnes for rare earth oxides, almost unchanged from 105,000 tonnes and 100,000 tonnes in 2016.
