According to the financial results for the first quarter of 2017 released by Xiamen Tungsten in the evening of April 10, the company’s operating income was RMB2,391,188,100 in the first quarter of 2017, up by 61.25% YOY; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies is RMB131,195,400, up by 534.32% YOY; the earning of per share is basically at RMB0.1213.
Reasons for the company to see increased profit are as follow: firstly, prices for primary tungsten products picked up with increased profit; secondly, output and sales for deep processing tungsten products rose steadily with stably increased profit; thirdly, demand for lithium battery material is strong with substantially increased output, sales and profit; fourthly, affected by the selling of shops or stores, the profit of real estate companies went up YOY.
