"I purchased around 80 tons of lanthanum oxide 99.9%min at USD1.75/kg CIF Japan for our Japanese client in November . Our supplier still quotes USD1.75/kg CIF Japan now, but we haven’t purchased so far this month,” said a Japanese trader, who also mentioned that lanthanum oxide 99 . 9%min market is still controlled by purchasers and their clients are in no hurry to rebuild stocks.
The trade, who dealt with around 900 tons of lanthanum oxide 99.9%min last year, traded around 80 tons of the material in November and has no stocks now . He prefers to purchase after receiving orders from clients.

We failed to make deals as the client’s target price is as low as USD1.65/kg CIF America,” said the trader.
With a normally annual trading volume of 500 tons of lanthanum oxide 99%min, the trader exported around 50 tons of lanthanum oxide 99.9%min at USD1.76/kg CIF America in November and has no stocks at the moment .
