PrNd mischmetal prices go down further

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Dec 13 - PrNd mischmetal market continues to see dropping prices as the demand shows no signs of picking up. The prices are in a range of RMB405,000-420,000/t (USD66,359-68,816/t) for the time being, with a decrease of RMB5,000/t (USD819/t) from those of early this week.
A source from a smelter in North China shared with Asian Metal that they quote RMB415,000-420,000/t (USD67,997-68,816/t) for the time being, down slightly from those of early this week. The source disclosed that as NdFeB magnet industry shows no signs of rebounding, consumers purchase the material for immediate use, and they lower the offers to stimulate sales.
The source noted that the plant produces 60 tons of PrNd mischmetal per month, and they have not made any deals in recent days.
A source from a smelter in South China claimed that PrNd mischmetal prices are in a range of RMB405,000-410,000/t (USD66,359-67,178/t) at the moment, down by around RMB5,000/t (USD819/t) from those of early this week.
