    Germanium price in US racing to USD800/kg

    BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 May 06 - With DLA piloting Germanium market, there is hope that price will be heading to USD800/kg very soon in US market, according to a trader source.

    The source will receive his bid from DLA this week at a price of USD730/kg, which he hopes will increase next month when another round of bid will come out.

    However, a U.K Trader claimed to have sold at USD800/kg last week as he saw a stronger demand and feels what the price is chasing is USD1,000/kg in a market facing moderate supply.
