Huantai Zhuofan to build vanadium pentoxide production line

Huantai Zhuofan Material (Gansu) Co., Ltd. plans to build a 20,000m3 vanadium electrolyte and 3,000tpa high-purity raw material project, according to the environmental impact assessment (EIA) released for public disclosure.
With a total planned investment of RMB520 million (USD71.77 million), the project will be located at Dongzhi County Industrial Park in Qingyang, Gansu and construction includes two phases. The first phase will build a 3,000tpa vanadium pentoxide production line which also produces sodium sulfate as a by-product, and the second phase will build another production line with an annual production capacity of 20,000m3 of vanadium electrolyte, as well as associated safety and environmental protection facilities.
