Jinhui Mining wins exploration right for zinc-lead deposit in Gansu

Jinhui Mining has won a five-year exploration right covering about 11.79 square kilometers at Dongpo lead-zinc mine in Huixian, Gansu for RMB90.09 million (USD12.56 million).
The exploration right for Dongpo lead-zinc mine is located on the main ore belt of Xicheng lead-zinc ore field, the second biggest lead-zinc metallogenic belt in China, and is about 5 kilometers away from the company's large-sized Guojiagou lead-zinc deposit.
According to preliminary statistics, the exploration block has an indicated resources of 111,200 tonnes at 1.04% Pb and 3.76% Zn, containing 1,155.50 tonnes of lead and 4,177.58 tonnes of zinc, and an inferred resources of 493,000 tonnes at 2.72% Pb and 3.31% Zn, containing 13,377.79 tonnes of lead and 16,321.12 tonnes of zinc.
