Shandong Hongcan's precision aluminum alloy structural parts project begins production

Shandong Hongcan Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, began the phase one production of its lightweight automotive aluminum alloy die casting project located at Huimin economic development zone on December 12.
With a total investment of RMB1.7 billion (USD238 million), the project has an annual production capacity of 3 million pieces of precision aluminum alloy structural parts used for eight categories of automotive product. When the phase one becomes fully operational, it is able to produce 700,000 pieces of precision aluminum alloy structural parts annually.
The project mainly uses liquid aluminum directly supplied from Weiqiao Group as the raw material, and it is the first green demonstration project in China that integrates raw material supply, R&D, die casting, automobile making and recycling.
