Western Mining completes Yulong copper mine upgrade project

Tibet Yulong Copper, a subsidiary of China's Western Mining, completed Yulong copper mine upgrade project and began trial production on November 8.
The upgrade project broke ground on March 5, 2023 and took eight months to complete the construction of new smart dressing and production system which replaced the old one at its two dressing plants, as well as a new crushing plant and belt conveyor. When fully operational, it will add ore processing capacity of 4 . 5 million tonnes per annum, increasing annual copper equivalent production to 150,000t from 120,000t, and would generate revenue of RMB1 billion (USD137 million) every year.
