China's Longling reports 9.8% increase in Jan-Aug industrial silicon production

China's Longling county saw a 10.1% increase in the total value of industrial output by companies above designated size in the first eight months of 2023, 5.3 percentage points slower than the same period of last year.
From January to August, Longling produced 24,400t of electrolytic zinc, up by 5.3% YoY, 117,500t of industrial silicon, up by 9.8% YoY and 33,700t of monocrystalline silicon, up by 45% YoY.
