Anhui Yunhai Aluminum begins production at 150ktpa aluminum extrusion project

Anhui Yunhai Aluminum Co., Ltd. put the light-weight extruded aluminum profiles project with an annual production capacity of 150,000t into operation on August 22.
The project was signed in December 2021 with total investment of RMB2.5 billion (USD343 million) and a land area of around 443Mu (29.53 hectares). The project consists of 18 aluminum extrusion lines and associated production lines and is able to supply 150,000tpa of light-weight extruded aluminum profiles to auto makers including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Changan, Geely, BYD, NIO, Li Auto, etc.
