Henan Shenhuo to acquire 14.85% stake in Yunnan Shenhuo

Henan Shenhuo Coal and Power Co., Ltd. announced that it plans to acquire a 14.85% equity interest in Yunnan Shenhuo Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., including a 9.90% interest held by Henan Asset Business Development Shenhuo Green Development Fund (limited Partnership) for about RMB966 million (USD133 million) and a 4.95% interest held by Shangqiu Xinfa Investment Co., Ltd. for about RMB483 million (USD66.30 million).
After the acquisition, Henan Shenhuo will hold a total of 58.25% stake in Yunnan Shenhuo and expects to further increase primary aluminum production capacity in Yunnan with cost advantages.
