East Hope's 145ktpa silicon metal project begins phase one trial production

On August 3, Ningxia new energy silicon metal project produced the first batch of molten silicon from the No.6 submerged arc furnace, which marked the start of trial production at the phase one of the 145,000tpa silicon metal project owned by East Hope Group.
The first phase of the project has two smelting workshops equipped with six and four 33000KV submerged arc furnaces respectively. The No.6 furnace was powered on July 31, began hot commissioning on August 2 and produced molten silicon (521# silicon) on August 3.
