150ktpa silicon metal granule processing project to break ground in Longling, China

On July 24, Baoshan Jichuang Renewable Resources Utilization Co., Ltd. entered into an agreement with Longling Industry Park to build a silicon metal granule processing project with production capacity of 150,000 tonnes per annum.
With total investment estimated at RMB236 million (USD33.08 million), the project will be located at Huangcaoba area of Longling Industry Park and build eight silicon metal granule processing lines and associated production facilities. When put into operation, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of more than RMB2.03 billion (USD284 million) and achieve tax contribution of RMB53 million (USD7.43 million).
