APALT to build 100ktpa high-end aluminum bar project

APALT plans to build a high-end aluminium-based material project with annual production capacity of 100,000t of aluminum bar in Minhe, Qinghai.
With total investment of RMB450 million (USD62.76 million), the project is scheduled to break ground in August 2023 and commence production in December 2024 before reaching full capacity by late June 2025.
The project will use liquid aluminum produced by green power as the main raw material to produce high-performance aluminum bar. When in full capacity, it is expected to generate annual production value of nearly RMB2 billion (USD279 million) and create 100 jobs.
