Huaren New Material to expand primary aluminum production capacity

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the primary aluminum capacity replacement scheme by Guizhou Huaren New Materials has been made public by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The company plans to add primary aluminum production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) by building 68 units of 500KA electrolytic cell through a capacity replacement program where Shandong Nanshan Aluminum will shut down 256 units of 300KA cells, amounting to capacity of 200,000tpa.
