Shougang's auto panel output in May rises by 3.9% YoY

In May 2023, Shougang's auto panel output recorded 320,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%; electrical steel output was 160,000 tons, up by 11.4% year on year; tin plate production was 60,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.7%; and auto-purpose pickling steel was 90,000 tons, up by 61.7% year on year.
In May 2023, the company's NEV electrical steel sales grew by around 6% YoY, oriented electrical steel sales increased by about 49% YoY, and NEV auto panel sales grew by around 86% year on year.
