In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province made public the capacity replacement scheme for the green high-quality special steel upgrading and transformation project of Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Works Co., Ltd. from June 9 to July 7, 2023.
The company plans to add 1,225,000t of special steel capacity by replacing about 1,255,800t of old capacity. The 650,000tpy furnace might start construction in December 2023 and go into operation in December 2025, and the 575,000tpy furnace might start construction in December 2025 and go into operation in December 2027.
