Shenhuo Aluminum Foil obtains certificate of origin for aluminum foil exports to the Philippines

On June 2, Pudong Customs issued the first certificate of origin under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) for Shanghai Shenhuo Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. to export a batch of aluminum foil worth 55,000 US dollars to the Philippines. With this certificate, an import tariff of over 10,000 yuan (1,407 US dollars) on this batch of products can be reduced by the Philippines.
With an annual output of 83,000t of high-end ultra-thin light gauge aluminum foil, Shanghai Shenhuo Aluminum Foil exported 70% of its products to overseas countries, most of which are RCEP member countries such as Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Laos.
