A producer in Liaoning disclosed, "We offered for fused magnesia 97%min 0-30mm (Ca:Si=2:1; B.D 3.48min) at RMB3,300/t (USD478/t) EXW D/P with a concession of RBM50/t (USD7.3/t) today but failed to close any deal due to no inquiry". While they last sold about 100t at RMB3,300/t (USD478/t) without any bargaining last Tuesday.Asian Metal CopyrightD 3.Asian Metal Copyright They predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese H-Ca fused magnesia might keep stable in the coming week supported by production cost.

With a production capacity of 30,000tpy, they produced about 1,000t in April, unchanged from last month, holding no inventory at present.

"Due to weak demand, we quoted for called fused magnesia 97%min lump (Ca:Si=2:1；B.D 3.48min) at nearly RMB3,200/t (USD464/t) EXW D/P today, decreased by RMB100/t (USD14.5/t) from early last week," another producer in Liaoning reported. They sold around 200t at around RMB3,200/t (USD464/t) yesterday. While they last sold about 500t at about RMB3,300/t (USD478/t) on last Monday.Asian Metal CopyrightD 3.Asian Metal Copyright They didn't consider accepting lower price in spite of dim market and they believed that the mainstream prices of Chinese H-Ca fused magnesia would remain flat in the coming week supported by production cost.

Based on a production capacity of 40,000tpy, they produced about 3,000t this month, identical to last month. They hold around 2,000t of stocks now.
