Huayou Cobalt is looking to build the third nickel ore processing plant in the Philippines in partnership with a Philippine miner, a source revealed. Huayou Cobalt is in "exploratory talks" to build a high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) plant in the Philippines. Huayou Cobalt has already signed an agreement to build an HPAL plant in Indonesia.
