Refined Bangka Tin resumes tin ingot export

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Apr 23 - With the permission of the government, Refined Bangka Tin（RBT）Co., Ltd., one of the tin ingot 99.95%min producers in Indonesia, resumed tin ingot export from the middle of February and resumed production at the same time.
"As we got export quota of 3,000t per year from the Indonesian government in mid-February, we resumed tin ingot export and production at the same time," the source from the company added, and they disclosed that they produced about 250 in February and kept the monthly output of 300t so far.
The company mainly exports almost all its tin ingots to China and has no domestic trade business. Based on an annual production capacity of 20,000t for tin ingot, the company purchases tin concentrate from local mines to produce tin ingot 99.95%min. Their exports are expected to be 3,000t in 2023, in line with last year, holding no inventory now.
Considering soften demand in Chinese market, the mainstream prices of Indonesian tin ingot 99.95%min stand at USD27,250-27,300/t CIF China, down by USD200/t from last Friday. As most downstream clients purchased with watchful views, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Indonesian export tin ingot would edge down as following days.
