LONGi to build 12GW monocrystalline cell project

LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LONGi) released on April 10 that the company signed an investment cooperation agreement with the government of Tongchuan and the Management Committee of Tongchuan New Material Industrial Park on April 8 to build a 12-gigawatt monocrystalline cell project together in the Tongchuan New Material Industrial Park. The project, with the estimated investment of RMB3.5 billion (USD508 million) from LONGi's subsidiary, will start commercial production in the second half of 2024 and reach design capacity by the end of 2024.
