Inner Mongolia Yindu Mining resumes lead concentrate

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 23 - After a two-month shutdown period, Inner Mongolia Yindu Mining Co., ltd., a major lead concentrate 45%min producer in Inner Mongolia, resumed production of lead concentrate on April 1st with the output of 900 metal tons in April.
"We suspended production for nearly two months limited by the cold weather, we resumed production on April 1st and would produce about 900 metal tons in April," a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal. They would probably produce about 900 metal tons next month as well.
They have a local lead-zinc mixed mine with an average grade of about 5%min, which contains nearly 3kg of silver per ton, and use flotation technology to produce lead concentrate 45%min and sell to local smelters and traders. The producer, based on an annual production capacity of 12,000 metal tons of lead concentrate, totally produced about 8,600 metal tons in 2022 and about 100 metal tons so far this year, holding no inventory currently.
The mainstream TCs of lead concentrate 50%min stood at RMB800-900/metal ton (USD116-131/metal ton) delivered today in Inner Mongolia, down by RMB100/metal ton (USD14.5/metal ton) from late last month. Given that the tight supply of raw materials but soft demand in terminal market, insiders predict that TCs of lead concentrate 50%min would unmoved in the coming week.
