Dean Tianbao Mining increases lead concentrate

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 11 Apr 23 - One of mid-sized lead concentrate 55%min producers in Jiangxi, Dean Tianbao Mining Co., ltd., would increase their lead concentrate output to about 700 metal tons in April, a source from the company mentioned to Asian Metal.
"As downstream clients purchased actively, we decided to increase the production to about 700 metal tons in April, up by 100 metal tons from last month," the source noted, adding that they would probably remain the same production next month.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of around 17,000 metal tons of lead concentrate 55%min, totally produced about 2,400 metal tons in 2022 and 2,000 metal tons so far this year, holding no inventory now. They have a dressing plant that could process about 3,000 tons of crude ore per day (Zn+Pb). Their lead mine was classified as lead sulfide, which contains 0.9kg of silver per ton.
On Monday, the current mainstream TCs of lead concentrate 60%min stand at RMB800-850/metal ton (USD117-124/metal ton) delivered in Jiangxi, down by RMB100/metal tons(USD14.6/metal tons) from half a month ago. Although the market saw strong consumption, insiders believe that TCs of lead concentrate would keep flat in the following days supported by production cost from downstream clients.
