BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Apr 23 - Permtsvetmet, JSC, a major secondary aluminum alloy ingots producer in Russia, would produce around 2,350t in April and targets around 2,500t in May, up from around 2,200t in March, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We received more orders, so would produce around 2,350t this month and target around 2,500t in May," said the source, who produced around 2,200t in March and holds no stock now.
With three melting furnaces and the total production capacity of 50,000tpy, they produced over 40,000t in 2022 and over 6,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for secondary aluminum alloy ingots ADC12 keep at USD2,300-2,350/t CIF Japan, up by USD10/t from early this week. As the demand improved and aluminum prices moved up, producers become confident in the price.
